Pediatric (Childhood) Cancer Statistics:

  • 1 in 330 children and teens will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20.
  • Cancer kills more kids than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and muscular dystrophy combined.
  • Over 40,000 children and teens across the USA are undergoing active cancer treatment.
  • Every day 35 of our children and teens are diagnosed with cancer. 7 will die. 17 of the 28 survivors will suffer devastating life long side effects.
  • The incidence of pediatric cancer increases every year.
  • Childhood cancers have no known cause.
