We are so excited to once again, get the word out about Childhood Cancer Awareness. This year, we will be talking with survivors, siblings, parents, and friends about their personal experiences with pediatric cancer. We will be posting on social media as well as right here, so check back with us in September to learn more.
This month, The Seany Foundation will be receiving a little extra help from Erin Reed. In honor of her mother Valerie, who lost her battle to Ewing sarcoma (the same cancer that Sean had), Erin has joined the fight against childhood cancer. She has created an “FU Cancer” necklace, a 19mm hammered raw brass disc, complete with a 14K gold-filled chain. Erin is generously donating all proceeds from sales of this necklace to The Seany Foundation. To buy the necklace or read more of Erin’s personal story, visit http://www.etsy.com/listing/92993417/fu-cancer-necklace-valerie
Thank you, Erin, for making a difference in the lives of kids with cancer!
Check us out on the Leaderboard! Thanks to 37 generous online gifts, The Seany Foundation successfully raised $11,161 in just 36 hours as part of Bettergiving’s giveBIG San Diego campaign. What a way to end the year! Thank you to all who participated and to those who helped spread the word about The Seany Foundation. Contributions will go directly to research to help find better treatments and potential cures for childhood cancer.
