Seany Releases New Ewing’s Sarcoma PSA

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and The Seany Foundation is striving to bring some very much needed attention to some little known diseases.  As research money comes trickling down the cancer heirarchy, these rarer pediatric cancers are often overlooked.  This gives us all the more reason to make some noise about them.  Find out a little bit more about Ewing’s sarcoma, the type of bone cancer that Sean battled for nearly 7 years:

A Step Forward in Research Funding

Dr. Gabriel G. Seany Movie Night Packs Mad Fun

On Friday, March 5, Alice in Wonderland in 3D delighted guests at Seany Movie Night at UltraStar Del Mar Highlands.  The charity screening raised over $7500.  Costume contest winners took home gift certificates and authentic movie posters, and each participant earned a free Jamba Juice smoothie just for entering.  For photos of the fabulous costumes, check out our Flickr Photostream.  If you missed the excitement this time around, get ready for our Sex and the City 2 Soiree coming up in May, and of course, our huge Hairless Potter Night coming in November!

Seany Movie Night is fast-approaching on Friday, March 5- only 9 days away.  If you already have your tickets, we will see you at 6pm when doors open at UltraStar Cinema Del Mar Highlands 8.  The costume contest begins at 7pm, and the screening will begin at 7:30pm.  We have a few more tickets that we’re looking to get sponsored for some kids at RCHSD who’d like to come for the fun, so if you or someone you know can donate the $40 for a young patient to have a fun night out, please let us know!  You can be part of the treatment and cure for childhood cancer.  Don’t miss this important date!
