The Seany Foundation is a proud beneficiary of the 3rd Annual Lugz Kidz Christmas in July on July 27! Check out all the fun in Long Beach, CA. And if you’re a patient from a local hospital, you get in free! Just be sure to RSVP.
On Monday, May 20, approximately 100 guests attended the 3rd Annual Swinging for Seany Charity Golf Tournament at the Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. KUSI got the exclusive from Co-Founder Mitch Robins in the early morning as the clouds parted and made way for a beautifully, sunny day out on some of the best greens in San Diego. Special guests included sports celebrities Kris Dielman, Chris McAlister, Tre McLeod, Jim Trotter, Jermaine Dye, and Scott Shields.
Golfers competed in fun contests for exciting prizes such as a stay at Wynn Las Vegas, and enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour, silent and live auctions, awards dinner, and opportunity drawing. Congratulations to our Lowest Team Score winners, pictured below:
Perhaps the most touching moments of the day included speeches from Sean’s sister, Emily, and Camp Reach for the Sky camper and cancer survivor, Oscar. The Seany Foundation also proudly announced that, in 2014, the American Cancer Society will pass the torch to The Seany Foundation as the funding organization for Camp Reach for the Sky, a free summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings. Proceeds raised at this year’s golf tournament will help send patients and their siblings to camp next year.

On Saturday, March 30, over 100 guests placed their bets at Seany’s Showdown Poker Tournament and Casino Night at Co-Merge in downtown San Diego to help fight childhood cancer. The fun-filled night raised $10,000 for The Seany Foundation’s patient care programs. Casino players got lucky at craps, blackjack, and roulette. Congratulations to poker tournament winner Delana Ricasa, who took home the grand prize: a two-night stay at the Wynn Hotel Las Vegas and two tickets to see Cirque De Soliel’s Le Reve!
Everyone enjoyed the festive beats of DJ PJ, refreshing cocktails by Bartini’s and St. Petersburg Vodka, and yummy appetizers courtesy of Titled Kilt. Lucky drawing winners took home exciting prizes, including a St. Mark’s Golf Package, a Donovan’s Steak & Chop House Gift Certificate, Pamplemousse Chocolate Caramels, and more!

On Saturday, October 13, over 100 guests gathered at the Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, for The Seany Foundation’s 5th Annual Everything Is Possible Celebration. The landmark event was our best yet, raising over $100,000 for childhood cancer research and patient care programs. During the event, donors helped TSF achieve its millionth dollar raised since fundraising efforts began in 2007!
Guests enjoyed delicious cocktails, live music by Palter Ego, a silent/live auction with exciting prizes, and a gourmet meal. In recognition of her ongoing dedication to the fight against childhood cancer, Ms. Lori Iaquinta received the Seany Community Service Award.
The evening’s highlights included a special ballroom dance demo by Kurt Popp and a special announcement by co-founder Mitch Robins that TSF had raised its millionth dollar to-date. Many guests left the clubhouse that evening with their arms full of goodies. The champagne drawing winner took home a new iPad, opportunity drawing winners took home gift certificates, and winning bidders took home hot items ranging from a Hawaiian vacation to his and hers snowboards.

This summer, our good friend Noah Baird, hosted another lemonade stand. And once again, he donated a portion of profits to The Seany Foundation, to help kids who are battling cancer. This time, he enlisted his cousins who were visiting from NY.
Complete with an ipod and speakers, their lemonade stand attracted the attention of drivers-by (mostly due to the wonderful dancing accompanying the music). The Seany Foundation salutes Noah and his growing gang of lemonade sellers for their continued support in the battle against pediatric cancer! Way to go, kiddos!
Thanks to over 100 generous golfers and dinner guests, The Seany Foundation successfully raised over $63,000 at the 2nd Annual Swinging for Seany Golf Tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club on Monday, June 11. Special guests in attendance included LPGA golfer Meghan Hardin, Long Drive Champ Vinny Ciurluini, and NFL pros Chris McAlister, Kassim Osgood, Tre McLeod, and Andre Reed.
Golfers began the day warming up, competing in the putting contest for their chance to win a cruise, and enjoying BBQ lunch. Then, it was an afternoon full of fun on the gorgeous 18-hole course.
Highlights included hole-side massages, Karma Tequila tastings, and exciting competitions such as Break the Glass and Hole-in-Two.

Numerous lucky winners also took home fantastic raffle prizes that ranged from a brand new iPad3 to an autographed Vincent Jackson jersey to a private sailing excursion on San Diego Bay.
The live auction entertained all when NFL legend Andre Reed grabbed the mic and stepped up to auction an official football signed by Osgood, McLeod, McAlister, and himself. The thrills climaxed when an additional ball with Tim Teebow’s autograph was offered and won.
Other packages with winning bids included a week-long vacation in Palm Springs and state-of-the-art Callaway golf clubs.
As the evening winded down, guests finished dessert and picked up green backpacks filled with goodies for their next time out on the course.
