WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Bringing hope and happiness to kids affected by cancer.
Bringing hope and happiness to kids affected by cancer.
On Wednesday, May 16, preschoolers at Temple Solel Early Childhood Center jumped on their tricycles and did laps to help fight childhood cancer! The Trike-a-Thon donated proceeds to The Seany Foundation. The tikes, in turn, learned about Mitzvahs and helping others in need. Thanks, Temple Solel students and teachers, for riding to help end pediatric cancer! Check out the next generation of do-gooders in action:
Thank you to all those who sponsored a teen for this year’s Twilight Night! Thanks to you, we reached our goal of 100 tickets sponsored through Seany’s Sponsor-a-Kid (and Family) Program. Over 80 attendees from local hospitals (teens and their families) shared the theater with another 100 Seany supporters who came out for the fun! Click on the image below to read all about it. The Seany Foundation would like to send a big thanks to everyone who sponsored a kid and/or family to attend this year’s Hairless Potter Night! Click the image below to see how you made a difference in the lives of kids and teens with cancer:
A very special thanks goes out Noah Baird and The Kadima Bet class of 2011 from Temple Solel Early Childhood Center. They spent some time thinking about what they wanted to do with the Tzedakah they earned this year.
After several suggestions, they agreed that giving their class Tzedakah to The Seany Foundation would make everyone happy and proud. In addition, Kadima Alef and Kadima Bet joined Noah and his Mom, Becky, to host a lemonade stand to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. Thank you to Becky Cherlin Baird, Sharon Segal, and the teachers and kids of Temple Solel’s ECC Kadima, Class of 2011, for making a difference! You’re off to a bright start!
The Seany Foundation and Team Seany would like to wish you a very happy and healthy New Year! We have lots of fun-filled events planned for 2011; we hope to see you then! Thanks for a very generous year of giving. Take a few minutes to read our Year-in-Review to feel good about making the difference in the lives of kids with cancer.
The Seany Foundation would like to give a big thanks to our 2010 Celebration sponsors and our 2010 Auction Item Donors:
