Seany’s Junior Council

Seany’s Junior Council is a yearlong committee comprised of campers and former campers ages 15-19 years old. The aim of this group is to give teens in the Seany’s Camp Reach for the Sky population the opportunity to become actively engaged in making a difference in the pediatric cancer community through outreach efforts of awareness and advocacy, fundraising, and beyond.

Objectives of Seany’s Junior Council:

  • Community Outreach
  • Advocacy within schools and universities for quality of life
  • Mobilize other youth to get involved in the cancer community
  • Panels for event fundraising
  • Give their input on the upcoming camp season

Seany’s Junior Council members also receive mentoring and additional help with college, scholarship and job applications throughout the year.

Not only does Seany’s Junior Council allow teens to become active in the cancer community, participation in the council will fulfill high school service requirements.
