A huge thanks goes out to young Noah Baird and friends for hosting the first-ever lemonade stand/snack stop to benefit The Seany Foundation! Noah and his friends teamed up on July 11 to help us raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer.
Noah’s mom, Becky Baird, writes, “I wanted to share the most beautiful part of our Lemonade Stand Day. (We learned a lot and next month when we do it again, we will have a REALLY BIG SEANY SIGN!!) The kids had the best day, smiling, giggling, rocking out to music…super fun. As cars came by, one lady stopped her black SUV and two sweet 10 year old girls (roughly) quickly popped out of the car. The mom followed them across the street. As the girls told our kids what they wanted, the mom asked me what the proceeds were going to. As I told the mom and two young girls, the first girl said she lost a sibling to cancer, and the other girl said her brother had died of cancer as well. Well, I was moved to chills and tears. I could see the mom was emotional as well, obviously. The mom had lost her son, the sisters brother, to cancer and the two young girls were friends… It was so moving and really made us realize that we were doing something great!”
