Over $63K Raised at Swinging for Seany

Thanks to over 100 generous golfers and dinner guests, The Seany Foundation successfully raised over $63,000 at the 2nd Annual Swinging for Seany Golf Tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club on Monday, June 11. Special guests in attendance included LPGA golfer Meghan Hardin, Long Drive Champ Vinny Ciurluini, and NFL pros Chris McAlister, Kassim Osgood, Tre McLeod, and Andre Reed.

Golfers began the day warming up, competing in the putting contest for their chance to win a cruise, and enjoying BBQ lunch. Then, it was an afternoon full of fun on the gorgeous 18-hole course.

Highlights included hole-side massages, Karma Tequila tastings, and exciting competitions such as Break the Glass and Hole-in-Two.

Congratulations to our award winners!

Other packages with winning bids included a week-long vacation in Palm Springs and state-of-the-art Callaway golf clubs.

As the evening winded down, guests finished dessert and picked up green backpacks filled with goodies for their next time out on the course.

The Seany Foundation would like to thank all its in-kind donors and sponsors for making this event possible. Special thanks to Medical Center Pharmacy, Eddy Pump, VALT, Barona Resort & Casino, and Mountain West Real Estate. And of course, a big thank you to all who attended and to our dedicated volunteers for their time and energy!

Erin Reed Says “F.U. Cancer”!

This month, The Seany Foundation will be receiving a little extra help from Erin Reed. In honor of her mother Valerie, who lost her battle to Ewing sarcoma (the same cancer that Sean had), Erin has joined the fight against childhood cancer. She has created an “FU Cancer” necklace, a 19mm hammered raw brass disc, complete with a 14K gold-filled chain. Erin is generously donating all proceeds from sales of this necklace to The Seany Foundation.
