Ira Cammeyer, R.Ph
President and CEO- Harbor Consulting Group
A native New Yorker, Mr. Cammeyer has always taken an active role in life. Growing
up, he played baseball and football. Now he regularly spends his free time on the
golf course and tennis court. He also loves to ski, dance, and spend time with family
and friends. As the President and C.E.O. of Harbor Consulting Group, Mr. Cammeyer
likes to work hard too.
Mr. Cammeyer began Harbor Consulting Group in 1995, and for the last 16 years he
and his firm have been helping align, engage, and empower individuals and organizations
so they can reach their full potential. Mr. Cammeyer gives clients timely, objective,
precise, and defensible business valuation advice and analyses. His personal experience
and ongoing alliances with the healthcare industry's largest consolidators afford
him an ideal position to advise and counsel prospective sellers.
A graduate of the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy, Mr. Cammeyer continued
his education with graduate studies in finance and economics. Pursuing his career
in the health care arena, he served as an administrator at Downstate Medical Center
in New York. He then entered the long-term care market and provided pharmaceutical
and consulting services to nursing homes. He is actively involved in the industries
he serves as a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the
National Association of Home Infusion.
Mr. Cammeyer became involved with The Seany Foundation after seeing the unyielding
commitment of its Founders, Amy and Mitch Robins, and learning that he too could
make a real difference. While he and his wife, Adria, are thankful to not be personally
affected by childhood cancer, Mr. Cammeyer knows how random life can be: "We have
two grandsons and we are grateful that they are currently healthy, but one never
knows what the future can bring." "Let's all make a difference."
